I’m crying. I might be a fan of Tord’s character but I’m crying because how Matt has kept this alive. Matt is over here making all of us Eddheads happy with content and memories. Simple: He left because he wanted to focus on his own stuff, he just kinda grew out of Eddsworld I guess but he still talked to Edd. He did get harassed but that was AFTER he left. (Fangirls had no involvement, Eddsworld wasn't even that popular to have a angry mob of fangirls back in 2009. Why do people keep saying that BS?)

I always thought the fact that Tom brought him back into the show without his consent was pretty gross, especially considering his dislike for Tord in real life. I feel like the finale for Eddsworld Legacy should have been centered more around Edd and his life accomplishments before he died rather than some petty rivalry.

Today is Edd's birthday. I want to take this chance to thank the team, for keeping this alive. Thank you Thomas Ridgewell, for directing eddsworld legacy. Thank you, Tord Larsson, for being such an amazing character and a great friend to Edd. I'm truly sorry about the fans and the way they have been treating you. I hope you are having a nice and steady life. And lastly, thank you Edd. For being such a nice, friendly and amazing figure. You have inspired thousands of people, including myself and throughout the countless hours of animation you made, it always seemed to put a smile on my face. Thank you, everyone. For making my days better every time I watch eddsworld. In honour of Edward Duncan Ernest Gould, Tord Larsson, Thomas James Ridgewell, and Matthew Joseph "Matt" Hargreaves (But mostly edd).

Sadly I don’t think that will be happening. The IRL Tord doesn’t want anything to do with the eddsworld fandom and so does the IRL Tom. They have also made a new episode where they are removing Tord from the old Eddisodes in respect of the IRL Tord’s wishes. I am actually happy about that slightly, it proves Matt cares about his friends more then the fans. That’s not the case in a lot of fandoms which is why I personally love the eddsworld creators and such. They care about their irl friends more then the fans.

@@jaywalker4560 if you are taking about eddsworld remastered, that was an April fools joke. Told will still be in old eddisodes. Also removing tord would mean changing the story, voice lines, and overall feel of those eddisodes, basically being a slap in the face to edd's old works.

he never said that though? In Tord Larsson’s explanation, he mentioned that he and the character TORD are separated, and that he had nothing to do with the character’s personality or his actions. Be grateful for what he’s doing, man.

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again: People don’t appreciate Matt enough. Seriously my dude, I can’t appreciate you more. He’s had to go through, first of all, Edd’s death, and still continue. Then Tom left. He’s the only one out of the original 4 that has stayed until this point, and I can’t even imagine how rough it is, having none of his friends there, and being the only one left. (I am aware of the massive team that also goes into these, but this is just speaking of the main 4) Edd would be very proud 💚

I guess it's just me, but, lately, Eddsworld is putting more attention to Tord. It maybe just me, but I think that Matt wants to make Tord comeback to the series

Tord was not just only a character, he was Edd's friend, a great friend along side Matt…and Tom… but only me and true OG Eddheads know why Tord actually left and I respect the decision why he did and I’m glad eddsworld is still in great shape… thank you Matt! As well To George Gould for taking your brothers place and letting this show go on and respects to Ed Templar to voice Tom…. Tord was always my favorite. Don't like that he was a villain against his friends when he came back but I'm more than okay with living with that cause he came back at all and its not that uncharacteristic. Thanks for keeping the channel going Matt its a giangantic staple of my childhood.
