Great start to a new journey, your going to have an awesome channel, I raised my kids a lone, then I meet a sweet school teacher with 4 of her own kids, together we raised the Brady bunch lol now after 20 years we have ten grand babies, we both retired last year, me from the automotive and diesel tech shop, so your going to be great in your new videos, we’ll be waiting and watching 🥰

I'm not even 4 minutes into the video and I'm hooked! Your opening naration had me sold. Your living my dream; and all my friends/family think I'm crazy 🤣 But as times keep getting crazier; my friends are asking more questions about my current living choices - albeit "on the grid." It was a hard freeze (TX Gulf Coast, high 20's for a whole 48 hrs! 🤣😂), and I had my canvas cabin tent set up with my wood burning stove. I was suddenly very popular! Folks who laughed at me while I was setting up the tent; were suddenly praising me! My favorite thing to tell people is; "The chameleon is constantly changing to stay alive. If you're not willing to be a chameleon; you're an endangered species." That's my own personal theory for life in general, as well as the perspective of a small business owner. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Anyway I'm rambling! I'm here to witness the journey in admiration, and cheer you on the entire way. ❤

It is an interesting story , y'all have. First yurt homestead I've seen was the fit Farmer in South Carolina. They built a yurt and are expanding their homestead with a second one. Blessings, peace and prayers always.🐘🙏💐🙌🙊🙉🙈

I live in your same general area. It is extremely difficult to find a property out of the reach of governmental regulations ... where you can establish the homestead like you have. Nice property!

Jason, a couple things. First I've lived on well water my whole life. Get the water tested by the county lab. You can have arsenic and need to add a filter etc. Second, as your kids get into their teens they're not going to be happy living off grid. Course your probably already getting some of that. Lol 😇 . More power to ya though for trying it. You get time give a shout-out to Justin Porter at destination adventure. He's living in a camper in BC. He does amazing exploration vids. I know you'll like his stuff. Peace Brother ! 👊😎👍
