I'm from Dirty Jersey and moved to Fort Myers, aka Fort Misery aka Lil Pakistan, at age 12. To place called Pine Manor. Now that place is pretty hot and still is. Don't get these comments twisted tho, there's rough areas over here. Anyone that says otherwise wasn't there when it was popping. It's one thing to live in the hood and it's another to stay on the streets

Facts,that what you said is no cap!!! Pine Manor or I should say “Crime Manor” was a hotspot in the city.I use to work at the car wash not too far from Pine Manor,Eager Beaver Car Wash and would go there sometimes after work with some of the guys I worked with and see firsthand what is the deal.Also Michigan Ave/Fowler St and all over by the Stars Complex was rough back in the day.

Regardless of whether there are places "more hood" it's sad to know that the city you grew up in has young people killing one another... over what? I pray for our children and know that what they learn comes from the last generation which is you & I (obviously directed towards the 36-50 year olds)! We MUST educate our young men and women... show them how to behave, care for their children, work hard and most of all pass down our knowledge from our elders wether we had good role models or not! Evan Spencer no need to go near the hood if you're visiting Fort Myers. Just stay away from Martin Luther King Blvd and Dunbar, plenty of very nice and safe areas around Fort Myers, including the beach areas.
