Winterfest is one of our favorite holiday celebrations! We've been twice this year already and WILL be back at least twice more before the season ends.

I had so much fun I went on the first day it was open, aside from the long lines I had a lot of fun!

What happened to all the rides afterburn is usually always open!

I know some of the rides are closed, like Cobra and, I think, Intimidator. Fury's open though

Carowinds has gone so far downhill over the past 3 years. Makes me super sad because my husband and I have been gold season pass holders since we moved to the area in 2018, but we won't be renewing for 2024 because it is just such a disappointment now. They never have enough people working to effectively run the park, almost no kids' activities anymore, super inappropriate music blaring throughout the park even during "family freindly" events, even with a gold pass you get none of the perks like the pass holder previews anymore and the woke propaganda is definitely spreading at a rapid pace throughout the entire place. 🤷‍♀️

All parks have bad years unfortunately it was that way for carowinds this year it makes room for improvement and next year should be great for carowinds I won’t deny winterfest was a little disappointing but I think you should give it one more shot!
