I’m a Muslim but I’ve learned a lot from u.. I’ve tried some of your recipes.. instead of pork(which we couldn’t eat as muslim) I switched to chicken or beef🤗 overall.. your video is really amazing.. watching your culture and scenery calms me❤

Hope that work's out for you. A lot of Muslim people i know secretly eat pork & alcohol. And a lot of Hindus who eat beef. So lot's of culprits there lol. Who is to say who is better. Have your priorities right & just live your life. I'm a Hindu however don't really like pork. But i find these videos soothing. I don't judge just love the atmosphere.

@@S_Heavens I can confirm my brother in law was guilty of consuming the latter until he had some sort of spiritual awakening and stopped drinking for religious reasons. You've got the right mindeset, imho, which is very respectable and commendable.

Aww look at those little cute piglets :( I'm not vegan/vegetarian but seeing the reality of the animals getting slaughtered for food makes me think if I should stop, or at least, cut down on eating meat. Beautiful dishes and I love the community spirit! It is lost in so many places around the world. Thank you for another beautiful glimpse into your everyday life.

Watching your pig feast video each year feels like a personal tradition by now. I have been watching your videos for years--since Ahao was just a small kid. Back then the videos didn't have much talking and focused more on the food and preparation. Now it's become a wholesome video of family and tradition and culture. So proud of what you have achieved, Dianxi!

I kind of felt bad for this pig, he seemed friendly. Oh well; RIP, piggie, you nourished a lot of people.

Me too. It had a great personality. I absolutely respect that this pig was treated well, lived a far better life than in our factory farms here, and not a scrap was wasted; but it’s still a bit sad. Such is the circle of life.

Nothing nearly as fresh as this with fresh ingredients, made by family and community with love. That don't exist here in large scales maybe if you have the right family for it but that's rare too.

I love seeing all of the renovations and improvements you are having done to your home and. Maybe once it's finished you can give us a tour. I love all of the wood work that has been added. It is quite beautiful. Wishing your family well.

Please understand it's necessary food for some people. What i can respect the most is that they utilize almost every part of the pig so that there's no waste. It's the most respectful way to treat a farm animal.

@@mswishwashstoning8450 while nature abounds in so many edible things- animals may not necessarily have to be a food item for anyone. In fact what we should eat- the nature has given the clear guideline to us by giving us a particular type of teeth structure. We have only four canines in total- unlike dogs, wolves, lions etc who don’t not have incisors like us which means flesh eating is prescribed for them by nature but for us- only to the bare minimum. But still seeing that animals also show feeling- the way he licked Dawang and the way Dawang was agitated when they were torturing the pig to kill it- shows that animals have feelings. And that’s what broke my heart. Not commenting on food habits

Jsyk 春節/Spring Festival is what the lunar new year is called in China :) And same it's -35°C (with wind chill) where I am 😑 haha
