It depends on the person. To some, it's something odorous but to many, it's wow! Some describe durian as " tastes like heaven but it smells like hell" but for me, it smells like heaven as well!

@@gumamelameiYes. If you hold you nose while eating it the flavor is supposed to be sublime. Like a strong cheese. Never had the opportunity to try one. My dad ate Limburger cheese. I never tried it but the smell did not bother me. Is that what durian is like?
