Wow, I'm honestly surprised by how much this video has blown up! Thanks for y'all's support! Anyways, hey y'all, I'm here for an update. The entire Welcome Back To 2009 Playlist with 100 mashups is still up on my channel, however I am currently working on some extra mashups for the series that will also be added to the playlist. They'll be part of an expansion I call, Welcome Back To 2009: Gaiden with 56 mashups in all. This will make a combined 156 mashups for the entire series. It's "technically" a new series, but it's really just more mashups for the series as a whole. The reason I'm doing it is for 4 reasons, 1. Because of the sudden success of this video, 2. Because I have lots of new ideas that couldn't make it originally that I don't want going to waste, 3. Because I simply enjoyed making mashups for this series, and 4. Ever since I used one of the songs in The Ultimate Crossover: Final Mix, it's what inspired me to continue with the series (Spoilers: It's the Segata Sanshiro theme). This is honestly the most fun I've ever had making mashups and that's why I want to continue for one last run before starting a new series. A lot of the new mashups are already completed, but I will release all of them when I finish making them all. So stay tuned! As for the Welcome Back To 2009 mashups already on the channel, I've honestly thought about doing small music videos for each and every one of them to sort of update them and give them more visual flare kind of like what I did here. I'll mostly be using pre-existing clips and maybe change some aspects to adhere to copyright guidelines. It'll take some time, but I'll make it work by God's grace. I'll also still try to upload a video of every mashup in one video once I finish with the Gaiden mashups and hopefully have it uploaded in the future. Also, I'm still working on the Ultimate Crossover Final Mix music video as well. Things have just been busy and that's why I haven't uploaded much, but rest assured, I'm still hard at work. HOLY. SHIT. This actually takes me back, man. I remember watching sparta remixes at my grandma's house, and eating it up. I had a weird childhood, but I loved it. Those were the days of YTP and MLG memes. It reminds me if simpler times. Stuff like that one plush video of mario n luigi in a park, montage parodies, old spongebob YTPS, nyan cat, bad apple remakes, the duck song, its raining tacos, gliches gaming GMOD videos, Smile/ Cupcakes HD, being terrified of weegee, it was amazing. Genuinely, thank you for reminding me of these memes, and internet culture. I wish we still had some of these.
