Thanks! This ship was nice and the crew were great, I think you will really enjoy it. Falmouth has some great scenery, especially if you take an excursion and go outside the port area. They also have some fantastic beaches with beautiful blue water. Safe Travels!

I'll be going on this ship in January for the 2025 70,000 Tons Of Metal Cruise. This year, it was on the Freedom Of The Seas Ship. It seemed to me that the two ships are nearly the same.

That looks like it would be a fun cruise. Yes, the two ships are very similar. They are both part of the same class of ships in Royals Freedom Class. The Freedom of the Seas is the first ship in that class, so its a little older than the Independence, however it received a remodel in 2020, so it should be in great condition. Thanks! Yes, it’s best to book it as soon as possible, it does sell out fast. You can book it as soon as you connect to the ships wifi. Sometimes you can connect to the ship while your still in the port. Try that and if it works you can be one of the first to get a spot. Safe travels!

My kids were looking forward to that too. I was told they closed them because too many people were complaining of injuries and because it was shut down a lot due to weather. A combination of those issues made Royals decision to close them permanently.
