It is very rare to see in any ocean a good warship with two forward gun turrets of relatively heavy caliber. Used to see this Vietnam War era USN destroyers. Danes are smart. A heavy frigate bristling with armaments gives a potential enemy reason to pause and reconsider before attacking, never mind what's in the trunk. Is why USN desired them in picket duty near carriers. Reminds them of good ole days. Detente by naval cannon(s)

The firepower from this ship..... Can take out a carrier..... AND 10 other warships..... That why, the US Navy asked for this ship to protect there Carriers.....

Canada was stupid not to purchase these ships , far superior quality , cheaper and most importantly we would already have them......

Not likely since all variants for other nations are still in early construction or merely planned. Canada has a shipbuilding industry I'm sure they like to support.

Don't be absurd. Denmark does not possess a nuclear-armed military. They are a peace-loving & benign nation.

This ship is a NATO commandship... You can see it on the huge radar.... Denmark has four....!!

This is not a command vessel. It is an air defense frigate. The large antenna on the aft superstructure is a SMART-L air search system with a range of 400 km. Several navies use this system including UK, France, Netherlands & Germany. PS-They possess three such vessels, not four.

It has also, torpedoes, and sub torpedoes..... Not even a sub can come close.....!!! It is rank as number 2 in the marine world...!!§ Only a new Danish fregate ( three ), is better....!! Thats why the US , wants Denmark to protect there Carriers...... Brutal Viking force...!!

These vessels can detect submarines & carry smart torpedoes capable of destroying them as well as a rotor-wing aircraft (helicopter) capable of hunting subs at distance.
