That "Come back to Gusu with me" always breaks my heart, because Lan's always acted so cold towards Weiying, he's been convinced he just hates him and his ways. And this is Lan's first most outward expression of his love. Instead of turning his back on him when he's lost in what he considers "evil", he wants desperately to take him home and protect him, like his dad did with his mom, in spite of the inevitable judgement and controversy that would come with it.

At this point in the story, LZ didn't know that WY gave his own core to JC. Later on, when WN drops the big truth bomb, LZ feels sorry for scolding WY on the use of demonic magic. The drama extened the reveal and the reaction of those hearing about WY's personal sacrifice. A big issue they had was not communicating properly, as such WY believed that LZ hated him, and LZ believed that WY had evil intentions. Both needed to say/hear verbal confirmation or negation.

All those times Lan Zhan made his heroic appearance with one note while floating, and finally Wei Ying is his equivalent only dark and terrifying. I LOVE THIS PART 😍.... except when he completely misunderstood Lan Zhan's request to come home with him. That gets me every time 😔

One of most satisfying and badass moments in the anime.

El *"Wei Ying vuelve a Gusu conmigo"* siempre me dolerá demasiado. Lan Zhan estaba tan preocupado por él. 😭

I love how in the anime they do Make it like Wei Ying is losing his temperament whenever he’s using dark cultivation. Edit: I love that Lan Zhan is genuinely concerned for Wei Ying while Jiang Cheng is enjoying Wen Chao being tortured

I do love how that core stealing guy really died the same way he killed other people by having his own golden core removed as well... Also, for me, this had to be the best episode in the entire season for me.... This vengeance spree... I so relate... Sometimes we just want bad people to suffer for being the bad people they were... That's all😊😊😊

Truly one of the best TRUE revenge comebacks I've seen in a anime/novel, it was very well ....EXECUTED ( pun intended)😂 ...though I did feel bad for bby Lan Zhan😿..... I love me a good villain MC Arc

“Wei Ying, come back to Gusu with me.” The amount heartbreak, hope and love this one line managed to convey. In the novel, Lan Wangji kept asking him until the end to come back to Gusu with him even though Wei Ying never agreed. It’s just so sad to see how much misunderstanding and heart ache lay between them at that time.

I really enjoyed watching this scene (except the part when LWJ was practically begging WY to go to gusu with him that hurt my soul), wen chao and the others deserved that

he was really a geniuses he was left to die without his core to cultivate he still mange to learn new technice and was the strongest one among his peers weiying was really the top dog

Makes me wonder if one day in the future, WY ever opens his heart and tells LZ of his time after getting pushed into LZG.
