So many popular songs about relationships have been written by women, though, long before Taylor Swift. I don't really think it's a fair comparison to compare reaction to "male artists" in general to one woman. Speaking of which, I remember Justin Bieber being mocked endlessly for being "cheesy". Boy bands also get mocked a lot, along the same lines. Not sure sexism is the only reason here.

I think it’s cute they’ve managed to keep it private so there’s this mysterious factor to their romance so it seems a little bit more special I guess and we know that a very public relationship might go through some unnecessary drama(?). If keeping their relationship private works for them and they’re happy (and the relationship is healthy) so that’s great, amazing, and we shouldn’t be asking any additional info about their personal lives, they share what they want and feel comfortable doing so. At the end of the day, we support their work and with them happiness✨

For you to make a video out of this is what’s truly strange.

The reason why she's hiding her relationship from public is simply because of you guys 😒 what a meddlesome media. Get a life!
