Cocteau Twins was an underrated band probably on account of people not really fitting them into any niche or segment of people. The song Evangeline in particular probably didnt get that punch back then because its kind of too ethereal, and people, today more than yesterday tho, need to grasp at the significance and the lyrics to make it a hit. My favorite bands or artists from then were Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sinead, OMD, but they all convey really clear messages, if they don't then the music has to carry the weight.

4:07 xD Yeah there is a piano but... Jonny plays that keyboard just during that little bridge before the ending of the song. At the beginning they are playing three guitars at the same time.
