When I was six years old my siblings and I got a gift from my great grandmother, she ordered it from Fingerhut. It was this device, but back then it was marketed as the Hot Diggity Dogger. It cooked two wieners and two buns at the same time. Every time we had company over or guests for a football game, etc… that thing was the star of the show.

The metal tongs in the hot dog toaster is giving me major anxiety 😂 ⚡️

“the hotdogs are screaming!! That just proves they have souls” 😆 Now I’m going to go microwave a hotdog and listen for the whistle, sample it and harmonize it with sausage screams/ Vienna sausages to create a meat symphony that I will dedicate to the cruikshanks

In Australia we have toastie machines (they make toasties. Aka grilled cheese.) but if you want a toastie made in a pan it’s a pan toastie. Two very different things but literally the same thing. Bread, cheese, whatever else you want in it.

you can just buy a sandwich press, also known as panini press, and it'll get you way better melted cheese toasts that that toaster. it won't burn the bread, it'll have some crunch but it'll still be soft, you don't need to burn the bread in order to melt the cheese. and it also lets you do other types of sandwiches. or you can just use it to toast bread. it's multi function and you can use bread of different types of sizes, a toaster only works with that type of sliced bread

I've toasted bread on a frying pan for years. I use a smaller lid to press it down & it's perfect every single time.

I'm just worried here, with Jacob thinking it is perverted, and Lucas appreciating that it can handle girth. 🤣

Funny story my step dad got the hotdog toaster as a gift from my grandma one year as he used to make hotdogs all the time. He hated it so much. He thought I'd was so stupid so he put it away and never used it. He talked so much crap on it but it was hilarious 😂

As far as the grilled cheese product goes, I could tell that Lucas liked it and Jacob, you looked like you were trying to like it. It's okay to not like it. Truthfully I think everyone likes their grilled cheese differently whether it's softer or has more of a crunch. The fact that you have to put it in twice to make sure the cheese melts is not exactly my cup of tea. But then again I have to do it with my regular toaster at home. Too much trauma. I can't let myself be hurt like that again.
