I’m 75 years old, living with a neuromuscular degenerative disease. I can’t fly anymore. Twenty-five years wasn’t enough. I watch this video often. I weep, and remember. I don’t like crying, but I wouldn’t trade those years to avoid tears.

I feel your pain, my friend, I also am afflicted with the same curse, I too will fly.

I just watched this with my kids and I started crying. They both started shouting that they wanted to fly and i promised them they would. Time to start paragliding again. I needed new kit, suddenly there were other people to spend the money on, and now I haven't flown for 8 years. Beautiful video, JB. Thank you for the inspiration.

U should check out the video of this dad made his 9 year old a scaled down pwr paraglider. All lime green, pro job. Kids a great pilot.

I watched this video 2 years ago. The next day I signed up for my P2. A couple of years later here we are, paragliding is all that I think about. Thank you for creating this masterpiece. Flying is magic.

This comment is long ago, tho when i was 15 i went paragliding. Ive never felt so at peace and free. Next year i will learn it as well. After 4 years the time has come... The sky feels like "home" :)

When I think that MY SPORT is not the same than the one of this video and from Jean-Baptiste...;-) When, sometimes, I think I should be younger now. I started flying in 1989 in Tenerife (Canary Islands). I was one of the first pilots in my land (with Gredos, basically a parachute). Now I am 54. I lost years of my life flying not too much. I go on flying...But like an old person...He,he,he...All my admiration to Jean and to all the great pilots in Canarias who makes so great flights (and videos). When I see how PARAPENTE has evolved, I get excited....

I keep coming back to this again and again. Amazing music, great places and someone having fun at what they love doing. It's so fun and relaxing to watch at the same time.

I come back to this video often when I’m working/unable to fly. Always that recharge and inspiration I need to keep on. Absolutely wonderful video!

Ive sent this out on facebook at least once a year for past 4? Years, with the post " enjoy". Im 64 and absolutely send it with the best of intentions & hopes it will inspire all who see/hear it. Thanks to all involved in putting it out there. Especially j.b.c. and 1st aid kit. Hadn't heard this band until i saw this. I think this song is the best female band current. Its all good & a blessing. Cheers!!!

When I first saw this video years ago I didn’t think it was possible to experience this activity. It was like some are born to be able to do this and the rest of use not. The dream seemed so big it felt impossible. But a few years later on my way from work in the sky I saw some guys who were flying powered paragliders near my town. Met them and made a plan, and now I have been flying for two years. Watching this video now through different eyes is nostalgic and surreal. Chase your dreams guys. This is possible for anyone with enough determination and perseverance, even if it takes a few years anyone can learn it. I know a pilot who flies with one hand and another has prosthetic legs. You only live once. Don’t wait till you are too old to get out of bed.

@@iandocherty5278 Google powered paragliding or paragliding training. USHPA or USPPA in USA can give you a list of instructors. There are events called Fly ins. Go to one near you and observe and talk to people.

Same here! Hadn't ever heard of them until I saw this video, and now I'm really digging their music.

I had to return to watch you again, a new thought came to mind 'Flying', it's such a wonderful feeling flying my Drone, I have two, I'm up above the crowds watching, watching all the people on the ground moving around and enjoying each other, running , swimming, surfing, then I see the para-sails and truly see how much freedom they have up in the sky above all the people on the ground. The quiet you must experience when up there with the Eagles, it's a feeling I can only imagine and wish I was up there too. Thank you again for sharing with all of us, Happy Landings! B.T.

JB Chandelier is so totally awesome! I see him as a modern day Icarus...but wish him the softest landings, always. And as amazing as this video Weightless is..it wouldn't be as magical if he didn't have Silver Lining by First Aid Kit. These two sisters have the most exquisite voices, I've not heard a better pairing since Abba. I love this song..! May they all keep on, keeping on...❤️❤️❤️

Watching this melts away my stress and pain, lifts me up and makes me feel inspired and uplifted. Simply wonderful.

This is my most favorite video of all time.

Still the best movie on YT so far. Was my motivation to start paragliding and get to know this feeling. Even though I dont fly much, the feelings and thoughts are still within myself and I think would never disappear.

congrats, but remember or learn this saying there are old pilots, there are bold pilots, but there are no old bold pilots. Been flying for over 30 years & seen alot of people try to emulate the extreme side and eventually it ain't pretty. So fly level and level headed in your career

Well this gal (librarian) never gets tired of looking at this video - I love it!! When I'm having a crappy day, I just check this out and it gives me such joy. Jean is such an incredible athlete in such a highly unique sport. And....the MUSIC is so beautiful. These two (Swedish) sisters have the most exquisite voices, not since the great Abba's Frida and Agnetha have two gals, sounded sooo good together, they lift the spirit. Cheers to you all.
