As 2421 is self complementary code always put 1101 for 7. 1101 is the correct code for 7

Hey kanika... See wherever we need to decode the data before transfer it to transmitter so as we know the data has to be encoded again at the receiver end thus here we use weighted codes so that according to the weight of the code we can encode it easily.... It is similar to BCD conversion just convert each no. in 2421 code 2421 code for 8 is 1110 2421 code for 6 is 1100 2421 code for 2 is 0010 2421 code for 0 is 0000 Hence for 8620 decimal no. 2421 code will be -- ( 1110 1100 0010 0000)

Code is basically an incripted form of some binary digits having specified and unique value. For code, we generally use Binary Number.
