I wouldn't have been able to get through a 20 minute video in one sitting if it was just someone explaining in a monotone voice. Your attitude and personality made it so much easier to focus and understand!! Thank you :)
I didn't really understand how these worked during ground school, but watching this video helped me a lot. Thankyou. Coming across this is a miracle. The way you explain things is easy to absorb and if you ever start a podcast or something I would definitely tune in.

G,day AIDYL CONCEPTS from Sydney Australia. Thankyou for explaining the calculations that are important to a pilot. Loading a plane with items and measuring weight and it's distribution to the planes C of G is extremely important to safe flight. I have completed Q1. And divided the (plank) fulcrum into two sides of the pivot point (C of G). Obtained the total weights of both sides, and subtracted the lessor side from the greater, leaving the remaining weight of 7500lbs ÷ 25=300lbs at point (Y). I really appreciate your facilition of numeracy. 🤯⚖️📱

That question really was close with the 81.25/which category. My instructor always talks about margins with me and I'd say if it's that close to the line, I'd rather call it normal than utility. Why push it 🤷♂️ this was a useful video, though. Thanks for taking time with the math lol

Absolutely agreed! These multiple choice tests have a disadvantage of not always favoring common sense or considering safety margins. Thank you for sharing about good risk management.
I got 6.5 for rear passenger moment. That minor fix might've helped slightly in getting closer to 80.8 utility for question 2.

@@AIDYLCONCEPTS Your channel is great I'd like to add, thanks for going over the exam questions with us!
The second example question is wrong the FAA test prep book estimates the weight to a moment of 11.5 lb-in/1000 which does not make any sense rounding in a way that would reduce safety. but that's how the FAA does it
For the last question, if we already knew the weight was reduced by 210 pounds, couldn't we have already known the CG was aft of limits? Only because we know that a lighter plane has a CG more aft than a heavier plane whose CG is moved forward. Both B and C would not have made sense in general if the weight of the plane had been reduced.

listening to her is making me fall in love.
This helped until 13 minutes 57 seconds - it feels like a trick question or an answer so specific in the middle of the graph as to not matter - unless we are taking an exam. Time to get a snack and come back or just fly the plane as all three answers are in the middle of the acceptable limits. Now I'll wait for someone to say - "well actually..." (Snack time)

Haha! I agree. I often seek those annoying questions that feel poorly written so people don't fall victim to those tricks. I think some are just unproductive to learning to become a safe pilot. And I admit, I give myself several snack breaks while making these videos. Thank you for your feedback and best wishes!
