I always wondered though do they ever test those rides with people that are this big? Also wouldn’t that throw the balance off if there is one person that weights around twice the size of a regular male and possibly 3 females

When you're big those safety bars put huge pressure on your spine if you do manage to get them to close. Not great when your mass is going to be thrown about on the ride.

If it was the safety circuit switch on the drop ride not making because the ratchet on the restraint was only on by one tooth then it might have just been that seats switch position. Trying another seat might have worked. But then again, big guy and safety system barely making is a bit shady. I can't go on a lot of rides either.

I know how you feel mate. I'm 6ft 7" and weigh close to 300lbs. I used to love rollercoasters back in the day, but it's a roll of the dice as to whether or not I'd fit in the seats at UK parks. The US theme parks tend to have more accommodating seats, haha. It's the leg room that mostly gets me.
