Weigh Safe Trailer Hitch Review and Application
Please note in the video I said it was 239. It was actually 339.
The Weigh Safe Trailer hitch in action. I originally bought this from E-trailer and you can see my surprise with what I got from them.
Regardless, I am using it as is. It provides a great peace of mind when loading up the trailer.

It was where it was rubbing against the other components in the Box
They make something called a tri-pod. You should try it sometime! Ha ha! Sorry to make fun. I've definitely been there. I've found that a good tripod really helps when filming solo. Great review video. Thanks for sharing.
That have the same thing at HOME DEPOT and it comes with 2 keys and a locking hitch pin with key they both use 1 key for the receiver and for the locking hitch pin
Just to let you know, I have the same WeighSafe hitch and You Can turn it around and store it without taking it off. I have mine like that now. So you were incorrect in telling people in your video that it can’t be done. Otherwise, good video and an awesome tow hitch!!

It will work for you. You do need to know the weight of your load so you can do the 60/40 ratio normally suggested. Most trailer axles are set back to acheive this if evenly loaded...at least my dump trailer is. I consider it just a confirmation of my loading.
So I just bought the 2” version and when I stand on the ball, no weight registers. I weigh about 200 lbs. how much weight does it take to resister weight on this thing?

Put a trailer on it and find out

Lighter loads will take a couple minutes to register versus heavier loads will read a lot quicker. We recommend hooking up a loaded trailer and making sure the gauge registers the weight. Please feel free to reach out to us at support@weigh-safe.com if you have any other questions!

It is inconsistent with light loads. As mine measures weight without anything on it. So I always deduct that weight from the total. In your case I would load up known weight to see What it ends up measuring. The device should have a calibration ability but doesn't. If its not registering with 200 on the tongue its no good if you have a 2000 lb trailer and can't tell if 10% is on the hitch.
It’s not defective you need to use the Allen to adjust it.
You must have a older model because you can turn it around for storage.

I wouldn't be surprised considering the item was bought as new and received a used one.

No, it doesn’t work with the 3” shaft, only the smaller models.
Invest in a tripod...

Didn't have one at the time. Impromptu video while waiting for the kiddo
the weight safe built in scale is a great idea, but a horrible piece of junk

Yeah. After having it for a while, I have to agree with that. I do like the ability to easily change ball sizes though.
REVIEW?...NO towing, no sway control or weight distribution evaluation or scale accuracy?....I guess it looks good though.😂
