This has to be the most uninteresting concert ever. The band is just standing there, Rivers is scared to scream, the crowd is talking instead of listening and bored to hell...

People have such a stupid perspective of music, to the point where a band can be perfectly in time, 98% in key and reasonably technically proficient but people will say they "suck" because they don't do the wanky "rock guy" thing.

Rivers Cuomo is secretly Gordon Freeman (if you don't know what half-life is then this won't make sense)

I was in one of the first few rows of that concert. Although the crowd was dog shit, weezer has so many good songs so it made up for the crowd. (Imagine dragons played after and they were so boring I fell asleep on a bench)

the crowd only came out when there was Beaverly Hills, the least alternative rock song they have.

I hate watching live performances because the crowd is so dry, if I was there I’d be freaking out.

I bet that Crowd had the time of their lives...

Why is nobody moving? Saw them in '94 and '96 and they had everyone jumping. Peopl don't know what they're missing these days...

Is it me? Or did it seem like no one in the audience knew a single word to any of the songs? Every time the camera panned over to the crowd they were just standing there.

Officially worst crowd of all time? Edit: Towards the middle and end they weren’t as bad as the beginning. At least a few rows jumping and rocking out. This was also an incredible set list in my opinion.

why a rock band have to run and smash everything ? to make people forget that they make stereotyped music like the hives for example they run on stage do everything you ll expect from a rock band but their song are very poor and boring. sorry for my english i m not a native speaker

I wish they stopped playing Beverly Hills, I want you to, Pork and Beans, Memories on concerts. Awful songs that don't deserve to be played in the same concert as the other master pieces.

Just check the forums, reddit and other videos comments. It doesn't take a genius to notice that at least Beverly Hills is the most disliked song by Weezer fans. And those songs are only popular on KZread to the casual viewers, if you watch the live concerts, the crowd sounds dead during those songs in comparison to the rest of the setlist.

Actually I dunno what video you're watching dude; the crowd goes wild at the start of "Beverly Hills" here. It's a bad song, I agree with you. But it's a crowd-pleaser. It's a hit. It's what the causal audiences want to see from Weezer, especially at a festival. I disagree with you about the quality of "Pork and Beans" and "I Want You To", though. I think those are fantastic power-pop songs. On par with "Buddy Holly".

Got to agree with you there, Jorge. Pork and Beans and I Want You To are on a similar vibe to Buddy Holly. It's often forgotten that Weezer also has casual viewers.

Good set list crowd was lame. And what the hell was Scott doing on "Island in the Sun"!?? He butchered the whole song..I've NEVER been a fan of his sound or playing for that matter, his sound is muddy and dull and his playing is basic at best, I mean, no disrespect but they could have gotten a much better bass player than him, they should have gotten Matt Sharp back when they were talking about it in 2010 but Rivers said they're messed up dysfunctional brand of miscommunication reared it's ugly head once again and they couldn't make it happen which was extremely unfortunate, they've NEVER been the same since he left. Actually Micky did a stellar job on the Green album and would have been a fine replacement for Matt but for whatever reason he left too sand them sadly died.
