Haha, I remember the 1st time I ever heard of Ween was back in 2004 or something like that. They were playing at the will rogers theater down the street from my high school in OKC. Real small crowd, and some lady fed me mushrooms right at the entrance when I was going in. I’ll never forget it, one of the best shows I’ve ever been to, I don’t know how many times I’ve seen them since. 🤎)))))))

I remember buying pure guava just because the cover always caught my eye. Took a chance on it and was in love from the first listen! Seen them live several times and they are one of the best bands ever. Matter of Fact not Opinion.

This song is under appreciated. It grows on me more every time I hear it.

It's amazing. Heard it for the first time a couple of days ago, and last night I've dreamt with it. I love it

I have my fair share of hillbillys in my family, in fact; they make the entirety of my mom's side. I remember The Weavers and the Bluegrass Country Folk performing at every single event and I always thought it was creepy. Ween has successfully taught me to appreciate many styles of music by taking all of the dark seriousness out of it and simply showing them for the awesome jams they are. I love the rustic fiddle on this song and I have found a new found appreciation for an awesome sound.

trent reznor of all people turned me on to ween. in a old interview about his top 10 favorite music videos of all time, Freedom of 76 was up there, i forget what place. i checked them out and turned brown.

@panzercat39 Maybe they were trying to avoid putting known b sides on Shinola. I agree this is one of my favorite Ween songs. It's amazing how even with the simple chord progression, the fiddle and the way it's sang makes it sound so reflective. I picture watching the landscape roll by you as you drive through countryside or something. There's a rustic meditative quality.
