Iove the art! Just a suggestion, if you hang the art at that height I’d raise the curtain rod on the window perpendicular to the art wall. Helps bring your eyes up and the art won’t be higher than the window

Yes, I’ve hung them and it’s bothering me! Luckily custom drapes were on my list eventually for the dining room

People seem to forget that Christmas trees are usually for the kids when they're younger. My kids would have more color than you can imagine on my tree right in front of the entrance of the house, and I couldn't afford to have more than one. So, with all that being said, sis, don't worry about what these people are saying. Enjoy your family .
