I'm 59 yrs of age and 4ft 11" and have struggled with my weight most of my life. It took me until my early 50's to realize diets don't work, just eating a varied diet in moderation and taking some exercise if possible, so I totally agree with your comments Caroline. I feel so much better in myself, I accept I'm never going to be a size 12, but now sit at a comfortable 14, which to most people would say what are you complaining about, but I'm only 4ft 11" so its all relative!❤

I had a cat that used to sneeze a lot and I was on the verge of taking him to the vet when I noticed something very small protruding from his nose. I pulled it and out came a really long grass seed. I could see straightaway that it was from one of my ornamental grasses. His sneezing stopped immediately. Great vlog as usual. So many things I could comment on but thought I would choose Ron. Another awesome week! I’ve been dieting since I was about 12 years old. Now 62. I hit the realization that calorie deficit is what works best for me. I’ve tried lots of different diets. Weight watchers diet pills, Atkins, low fat, low sugar, weighing food measuring etc. I’ve decided for me t chuck all that and just do it my way. Moderation and deficit is what works best for me. Love your sentiment at the end. I often told my kids when they were growing up that you can choose what kind of day to have. It’s about attitude and making choices. It’s a good day to have a good day.

Thank you Caroline, another entertaining/interesting video. I have spent my life from the age of 17 (I’m now 72) watching my weight and like you, years ago, I decided the only way was calories. Fortunately from the age of 41 I have managed to keep my weight stable. I’m tiny, 5’ and slim but I do have to work at it. I think the ‘devil’ now is ‘processed and ultra processed foods’ virtually everything you eat has been tampered with 🙄 and apparently is the reason why some of us struggle with our weight. I love the feeling after I have cleaned and tidied, it is so satisfying. 😊😊😊

Love that perfume sampler set. I buy a similar thing from Beauty Pie, and like being able to wear something different each day. I don't have a signature scent - but I used to wear Parure by Guerlain, and L'Interdit by Givenchy. My husband developed an allergic reaction to liquid perfume, so I didn't wear anything but scented body lotion for years. Just recently I tried sprays again, and they didn't affect him in any way - so now I'm loving wearing scent again. Sephora sent me a sample of My Way by Armani which is lovely! Here in the US (at least in my experience) it is rare to find real sugar in the packet holders in restaurants - every type of chemical sweetener, blue, pink, yellow - but seldom any real sugar. Coffee shops have it, as do diners, but for an after dinner coffee you have to beg! Lovely chatty vlog - thanks!

Hi glad you liked the earings they suit you.I personally love the mediterranean diet however I never cook as I really dont like it nor do I enjoy supermarkets my husband does the cooking and shopping as he finds it relaxing.I adore eating and drinking good wine however which is why its hard to diet. I think you should move to Cambridgeshire- we’ve had quite a lot of really lovely weather (well until I bought 2 loungers and haven’t seen the sun since!!) would love to go in the draw for Glossy Box!!

I’m 69 and 5ft 3in and my consultant has written in my letter that my 8th problem is that I’m obese 😩 now I know I’m overweight but thought obese was a bit too much to read, overweight sounds better. A couple of years ago I was at a good weight when I started to have a lot of problems with my back and my legs which have affected my ability to exercise and so I’ve gained 2stone, I’ve currently lost 10 lbs which I’m happy with.

Hi Caroline Great vlog as usual.The recipe of the week looked great,that is one I will try.I was glad you showed the L'Oréal mascara.I didn't know there was such a mascara.I will definitely be trying it as I have bad arthritis in my hand.When you said you wete visiting Dartmoor for the night I got quite emotional as my Great Uncle was awarded the VC in the first world war.His name is Theodore Veale and apparently there is a plaque in his honour in Dartmouth which I haven't seen in person.Maybe one day I will visit it.I am also the lady who knows your Aunt Joan .I've not seen her for a while,please pass on my best wishes I'm the retired nurse from the Health Centre.Take care .xx

Good Morning, it would be better / more hygienic to have a 'sticky board' style electronic fly killer in a food prep area , as kill grids fire small particles of the dead fly out of the unit. For outside Red Top Fly Killers are amazing, though very smelly, and they attract flies and keep them out of the house! You can get 'decorative' up-lighter style electronic fly killers also.
