This is WAY too much food for a child to eat at one time. Overeating healthy food is still bad for you. Your child should be eating 1,200 calories a day for female, 1,400 calories a day for male. You need to spread this out over the day and not all at once. Fruit is good for you but FULL of sugar, citrus fruits will cause stomach cramps, tooth decay and fat gain. Fruit should be treated like a treat. Chocolate bars etc shouldn’t be a reward, fruit should be. It is very easy to make delicious healthy food and to eat in moderation. Cook your chicken in honey and add chilli flakes to make a nice honey glazed chilli chicken. It’s not the most healthy meal, but it’s better than any of that processed garbage you’d usually eat. This is why we say Americans can’t cook and eat like 🐷 Cooking is not taking a processed packaged meal and microwaving it. Putting processed spaghetti in a pot and using bottled tomato sauce is not cooking. Give your child some porridge for breakfast, that will last them a long time and is super healthy. Then give them a meal with rice or pasta (a handful of pasta is enough for an adult, pasta is not the main part of the meal!), these carbs will give them energy for the day. You should have your big meal for lunch and have a smaller meal for dinner at night. Why sleep with a belly full of food?.. it will disrupt your sleep. Have a light meal in the evening so you don’t digest your food lying down and cause issues. Giving your child processed food and sugary treats is no different to giving them alcohol. I know you think it’s completely different because the law told you so, but it’s actually legal to give your child alcohol from the age of 5 years old on private property. Health wise a snickers bar and a pint are no different, it’s just culture wise that you think they are. You think it’s child abuse to give a child a pint of larger, but it’s no different to processed sugary food. You’re free to do whatever you want with your kids. I don’t care. But you should educate yourself

I have all the bento boxes as yours and my son does not like to eat it out them specially fruits and veggies that he says they smell like spoiled food after couple hours being inside those boxes. so we all know these are meant for kids. But damn if this woman doesn’t make hummus look appetizing! Lol. For real though, I think my siblings would go nuts for the tortilla wrap lunch idea! Great way to use leftover chicken breast we have from buying in bulk when there’s only 1.5-2 pieces left and it’s not really enough to split between our family of 4. They have bento boxes collecting dust in our house because they get free lunches but every now and then it might be nice to treat them with something like this!
