Listened to all your Pep Talks so far. I don't know how to comment there on Spotify or where can people comment on the interviews. I've been enjoying them. It's been a great idea to do the Interview specials on Spotify. Great for those of us who like more in depth discussions about perfume. The recent interview with Cherie of "the top note" featured a friendly comparison & description of the Italian Fragrance trade shows. Great format, Pep. Thanks.

Look at you in your T shirt while we are wrapping up in our thermals in this hemisphere. It’s an added bonus reminding us of our Summer’s passing. For a second I thought you were going to say they were nice rather than pleasant.😂 I have an older bottle of Une Nuit Magnetique which is nice… As for the nice/Nice , I’d guess it’s the former judging by their blurb using Calabrian Bergamot. I’m currently going through the Headspace Sample Set, Myrrh, Sauge and Absinthe are so far very nice, nice and pleasant!. Lovely rotation.

My bottle of HR(in the same bottle/version you have) has the vanilla & leather notes developing even more intensely, noticed it in the past couple of weeks of wearing it. Agree about CAHSEE, no thought required. I do think the musk used is quite good, elevated in a way, and def lasts. Like the best deodorant you’ve ever used ;-)

Hi Pep. I have and enjoy Raw Gold- Thomas de Monaco but I have a hard time describing this fragrance. I just like that it's different and I really like the beeswax/honey accord in this one. Question- Do you still have Eau Noire? I haven't seen it in your weeklies lately. Are you still enjoying it? Ok, take care.

Hi Michael, definitely still have it. But havent worn it since September.

I believe that for Essential Parfums, most of the names are half English, half French, just as the name of the brand. So it’s “nice” as an adjective and not the city 😉

The same goes for their ‘The Musc’, “the” as in the definite article, not the French word for ‘tea’, and Rose Magnetic, same thing 😊
