My mom was such a badass. When she wanted something done to our house, she figured out how to do it herself. I have memories of her hanging wallpaper and that was waaaaay before KZread!

LOVE that! Honestly my mom is the same way. She has been DIYing since before it was an internet thing. I think my only problem is that I am an extreme perfectionist and if I mess something up I will fixate on it like it's my job lol. I honestly hate that trait in myself so I am careful with what I am willing to take on vs. what I would really like to pay an expert for. When it comes to wallpapering in our most used rooms, I think I need to save up lol. We also I think will need to skim coat the walls first because they do have a pretty apparent texture and from what I have read, wallpaper looks best on smooth walls. We'll see if I can save up before my interest in it wanes haha!

Yes I keep the pretty lids for when I get a basic lid lol 🙋🏼‍♀️

They need to stop with the basic lids. Every candle needs a fancy lid lol!

I have a very large collection, but I only buy back-ups of my absolute favorites. I have no storage issues because my candles are stored where I chose to be just for candles when I was first choosing a home, which is probably not a typical real estate consideration for most normal people lol.

I wish I had thought out my storage a bit more before committing. I am now spending a lot of time moving things around lol. Smart to consider it before committing!

The Vacation candle was so strong I couldn’t handle it in my open concept. Maybe mine was sitting longer? Amazing scent! I gave it to my best friend and she was so happy.

I LOVE that! Mine is not quite that potent but I am LOVING it. I will buy another one before the end of this summer to have on hand for next year. Maybe letting it sit for a year will get me to where yours is!

The wallflower is an absolute powerhouse! I have it in the upstairs hall bath and it really does migrate out of that room very easily to scent the hall as well!

I might go to the other one in the next city over. I have two freebies for next time, that should tell you how much I spent lol. I bought 15 foaming hand soaps, still need Cucumber Melon. Bought 19 candles, all a different scent. I took advantage of their 75% off section. I'm not surprised to see you burning Sweet Cream, it being one of your favs. RIP to no more backups of Blueberry Violet Tarte. That one is definitely on my list. Starfruit Sangria will be an excellent candle/fragrance, should burn it next Summer. Connor from Connor Loves Candles has a great idea of making a list of which candles that he burned are his favorite and will get backups of them in the future. That's smart, I write down everything I burn lol. You can get 10 more hours with Homeworx candles than with BBW (30-55 hours) versus (25-45 hours). I have 38 concentrated room sprays in different scents lol. Nice roundup haul.

I am also in a no buy candle season in my life. For the last couple of years, I have really hoarded and bought an insane amount of candles. And just like you, I am finding I have no space in my little home! I have candles stacked on shelving, piled up in corners of the floor. Squeezed in drawers, in Ottomans crammed into in my buffet in my dining room … it’s actually ridiculous. I have triples and quadruples of so many candles. I’m just like you I keep saying I want to save this for a special occasion, but as of lately, I haven’t bought one candle this entire year, and I have really been burning through what I have. it’s a really freeing feeling, the only time I get super super tempted to buy an insane amount of candles is usually around when the fall candles come out 🍂 its an addiction for sure.

Well I will support you on your use it up journey! Honestly it feels so good! I am loving finishing things I never even thought I "deserved" to light up.

I got 2 Snif candles this week. haven't burned them yet, I bought Sweet Ash, it smells so nice, sexy, neutral. I also got Off the Grid, I can't really describe it, a little smoky maybe, but I think it will smell really nice the fall/winter. I want to try a candle from Market. Sephora carries them. Michele Wang reviewed hers and liked it. Currently I have Spiritus in my cart.

I think that pattern of wallpaper would be beautiful in your living room! You should definitely watch some videos and try it out yourself. I did partake in SAS today at BBW and was good and only got 3 candles even though I didn’t even need those 😂

Went to a stand alone BBW for SAS at opening today. Limited myself to 4 candles; several Wallflower refills, 3 soaps, & 4 pochetbacs. Had a 10 off 40. The best deal was 5.36 Island Margarita! 🛍️ Thanks for sharing your weekly home fragrances.☘️

You did great Reilly! Will try to head in myself this week at some point. Our stores are pretty busy so I like to let things die down lol. I am too old to be hunting for candles the way some of the people in my stores do. Hard core 🤣. That being said, it used to be me so I totally get it at the same time.

BBW is having there semi annual sale this weekend, candles are 10.95, in the app there is a 10 off 40 it came out to little over 8.00 each on 4, they had my berry waffle cone! I thought they were not going to put it out this year even if I’m on a no buy I had to get 4, I was very tempted to buy other scents but was being good 😊

Hey hey Melanie , hope all is well! So I stumbled upon a sas ad today , just goes to show how much I have not been keeping up with the fragrance world like usual! Butttt I have like 5 candles I keep forgetting to exchange and am almost out of hand soap and lotion so going use my coupon and stock up a bit , I'm not sure I'll buy any candles since I have 5 I can get new ones from but we'll see ! We're moving this month so I already have all my spring/ summer & fall/winter packed up ! I'm actually quite proud I was able to get each season if u will the home Depot medium size boxes ! I had a ton that only had a few burns left so I left those out to enjoy with my Scentsy well I finish packing! I am however looking forward to watching all the new stuff sniffs and reviews so I know what to keep eyes out for ! I'm only going allow myself the 5 exchanges and only NEW to me scents , well see 🙈🙊😆

Oh the perfume is a must Heidi!!!!! I went through an entire bottle in one summer.... all while having an insane perfume collection.
