I make it with olive oil, onion, carrot, celery, lentils tomato sauce and some thyme, origano and rosemary, some salt and a splash of white dry wine. Try this way and let me know! It is kind of the original recepie except for the herbs.

    Thank you 😊 I’m wondering, do you fortify your oat milk with calcium and vitamins? That is my one concern with making my own milk is that I may not get enough calcium, B12 and other necessary plant eater nutrients.

  • @TheConscientiousEater

    @TheConscientiousEater

    2 жыл бұрын

    Such a good question! I usually don't make homemade milk because I like all the vitamins and calcium provided in store-bought milk. This homemade milk was mainly for me because I can't have b12 for a little while to clear my skin, but the rest of my family drinks store-bought milk. If I made homemade milk for my family, I would definitely look into how to fortify my milk! I know it can be done as I looked into it when I used to make more milk at home.

    Hi Faith, I would like to hear why you are not eating soja products right now? Thanks 😊

    I think she mentioned it was due to clearing up some adult acne, further into the video. :)

    @@stevensfam Yes, thank you Krista, I went back and watched it again. I thought she must have said why, and I just hadn’t heard it 😊

    Yep! I was blessed with acne so trying to heal it and omitting soy (among many other foods) was recommend!

    Yes! I was having several months of horrible acne breakout that would leave scars behind. I had no clue what was going on until I finally cut out eating daily soy meat/processed veggie meat products. Since then the bad acne has disappeared! praise God

    I live in Canada and I can’t get maple syrup at the price you did (less than $6). 😂 it’s usually $10+ in my area.

    you eat a LOT of chocolate!!! 🤣....would the baked oatmeal cups work as well with blueberries or nuts rather than chocolate chips?

    I do! But not as much as this meal prepping session would make it seem. I mainly eat the chocolate baked oatmeal sweetened with banana and the rest is eaten by my family in smaller portions. Yes! Definitely omit or swap out the chocolate in the oatmeal cups for whatever you like!

    Could you just omit the chocolate in your chocolate granola and have it come out ok?

    I haven’t tried it but I think leaving the cocoa powder out would work. Or just check out my other granola recipes on my blog!

    You said in a video that on pizza/show night for the kids you and your husband go out for dinner after the kids go to bed. I assume that someone watches the kids while you're gone? It just sounds a bit strange the way you say it.

    It's just because you hear some people go out of the house (for example to a restaurant taking the babymonitor) while their children are sleeping. I would never do that.

    I'm not quite sure what I said, but we don't leave our kids to go out to eat:) We'd get a babysitter if we did that!
