Weekly Expenses in Paris (as a 25 year old)
Everyone says that "Paris is expensive" but exactly how expensive is it?
In this video, I break down what my weekly expenses look like day by day on groceries, eating out, rent and charges.

I can totally relate with eating out part. Its not always about saving the money, its mostly about how well we spend the money. B rolls at the end are gold 🤣

Man this means a lot. Thanks so much for the kind words! :) All the best!
Awesome video with great value man! I also think that a person's eating habit really affects the weekly expenses! I think the way you spend is actually what an average person would spend and not like someone who tries to be thrifty or spends unnecessarily

Thanks! You’re totally right.
You got 1 sub, mate. Thank you for the details breakdown. 👏 Btw I have one question related to Visa. Is it hard to get Tourist Visa for France? Let me know.
Another great video! I really like how you put everything out in an organised manner! Also, is the place at 3:22 Thirsty Mad Cat 🤔 I kinda remember it from when I was in Paris last year

Thanks! I think yeah, I generally try my best to live much below my means and keep lifestyle inflation in check. Or if not, then make sure that the money I’m spending is spent well.

Hi Mayank, my name is Gayatri and I am a 45 year old lady moving to Paris in 6 months, with my husband. I have lived in the States for the past 27 years and now I am looking for a new experience. Your videos are most helpful and interesting. I have been to Paris a couple of times and I am in love with Paris, the French language and culture. I am curious as to what is your French language proficiency ? How do you find the French people ? Are you able to integrate into the French society etc. Also, my understanding is that Paris, despite being a global city, is a lot less expensive than many US cities. Would you agree ? Hope you made videos on those topics as well. Thanks 😊🙏🏽

Hey! Congrats on your move! I speak French at a B2 level - enough to get by and do administrative things, but not enough to work in French and make friends in French yet. At work I'm able to easily integrate with all my French colleagues, but outside of work I'd say most of my friends are still other expats haha - it's a bit challenging to integrate with French people outside of work. And it is true that Paris is less expensive than cities like NYC and LA, having visited both and lived in LA for a few months!
Thanks so much for the tip on Picard. I confess that I have yet to go. 😅 By the way, there's a pistachio version of the pain à raisin if you can find it; it's absolutely mind-blowing.
