Hi Caprita 💜Happy Friday! Great job on your first check-in. I always notate the true expense. Unless you pull the money out physically and have rollover or a buffer that you use to supplement when you are over budget....or like you said...you can write the budgeted amount and then notate how much you paid on your credit card (I usually then under income sources notate how much money i used from my cash envelopes and sinking funds that i then apply to my credit card payment) I hope that makes sense and that i didnt further confuse you!! Also...you have mango trees by where you live?!?! so lucky!!! They are so pricey in the grocery stores.

Wow the extra $100 really put you ahead on your budget until the everyday expenses. 😂😂 I think you did it right. I also put my actual expenses so I know what I really spent. It’s good you know how much you need so you can pay off your credit card .

Hey Caprita! I need to start tracking my expenses. I just track what I have in cash. Here and there I would use my credit card just in case I don’t have enough. I don’t track that though, I just wait for the bill the following month and put that credit card under bills and make sure to pay in full. You’re doing amazing tracking your expenses. ❤ 13:34

I track the cash I spend. Anytime I use my credit card I don’t put it down because I will put it down on a future payday when I make that payment. Otherwise it makes it look like you pay that twice.
