I always gravitate towards “champagne toast” from bath and body works. I like some of the coconut ones aswell but find they always change the stock around so you really just get pot luck when you’re there as to what’s in stock. I’m addicted to their foam hand soaps and always order them online when on sale as I don’t live close to one either. Have a great birthday and trip! 🎉

I get what you are saying about clothing and how it fits. I am a size 18-20 and have found some great tops on Shein. There was one you showed on the screen that was white with ruffles on the sleeve. I found one similar to that, but the sleeves are shorter and kind of cross over with an extra ruffle. They are brilliant for me to wear to work, come in so many different colours. The fabric has stretch to it as well. They are stylish and comfy and good for the office. I pair them with the kmart black jeggins and then I am really comfy. I find when they arrive they have creases but I use my steamer to get them out and then I just wash and put on the line, no ironing. I get a 2XL and find they are true to size.

I know exactly how you feel about clothes. I found a breezy sundress from Western Aloha and I wear a shawl or sweater/shirt to cover my shoulders. This is what I wear when I have to dress nicely and be comfortable.

You pronounce Adidas differently than we do in the states . It through me for a minute then I realized what you meant. Both my parents had dementia well my mom had Alzheimer’s but never had the money problem issue and with them. You would think they would check pockets before washing as I am sure he is not the only one to leave their wallet or other stuff in there pockets.

Ohhhh I loved this vlog - Deeeef and those slippers ha ha ha BUT most importantly - STARBUCKS - you absolutely MUST try the Creme Brule Latte - it is absolutely DIVINE!!! I had about 5 when I went to an event up north last month ha - I am so beyond excited for the Sydney vlog omg and Tomohawk steak is also life - we bought one last Christmas and it was the nicest thing I have ever eaten. Took about 2 hours to cook it - it was the same size as my Dog haha those tops look amazing and now I need to get on SHEIN :)

I’m so glad you’re back! You always make me laugh!! I was thinking about the play money and your dad. I wonder if you could either laminate it or possibly use dishwasher safe modge podge on the bills? Maybe even use some canvas and print the toy money on that. I think that would be your best bet. Here in the states they sell sheets of canvas at office stores you can buy. Just a thought! Dementia and Alzheimer’s are terrible diseases! My heart breaks for the families that have loved ones with that horrible disease!

I remember you trying on jeans once. You looked great. You don't look 50 btw. The op shops sometimes have different tops. Sometimes name brands. Im the same..I would rather just blend in too. I wear jeans and a t shirt all the time lol That's a great idea be able to see real people modelling the clothes. Have a fabulous time away 🎉

Yes I do have a couple of pairs of jeans that I never wear but I might have to get them out and try them again now that’s it winter. Our op shops here never really have a great selection of plus size clothes at least not in the style that I like….lol

Try Reject shop or junk shops in the tourist section with all the Australia stuff, they have normally got note pads replicating bank notes on one side, may need to stick together as they are ruled on one side. Could you laminate? I will keep my eye out for you and can send if I find any. Maybe when you are in Sydney you might have some luck or in city in those tourists shops. Your Dad is so precious, I hope you find a solution.❤

Hi Lisa, Can thoroughly recommend a visit to Chinatown - have not had a bad meal there yet and also not to overt the top price wise. Also I'm not a big seafood fan but my son is and really likes going to Sydney Fish Market. Being a regional Plus size girl myself in my early 50s, I have no style either but I love the quality of the Beme clothes, I always buy on sales atm really nice t shirts and tops are going for between $8 - $15. I always buy summer clothes during winter season and winter during summer. Also I live in stretch jeans and yoga pants and find they are pretty good from there. I am short almost 5'2" and there short jeans hit my ankle - bargain no sewing. I also live with one pair of sandals, one pair of flats and one pair of sneakers (fat, short feet) and those flats you bought are really good. I hope you have a good trip to Sydney. I loved turning 50 felt freeing I found I like what I like and I like comfort . Also love the slippers.

Oh yes I do remember China town, I have loved that place I remember there used to be like an underground food court where we always went and loved it. dam I think we need to extend the trip to fit more in lol. Almost 7 years ago I was nearly 140kgs, had weightloss surgery, went down to 78kgs but today I am about 100kgs. Operation I was 45 almost 46, now next month I will be 53

Wowee that is still an awesome effort lovely, you are still 40kg lighter than you heaviest and that has got to feel a lot easier on your body. I think I would feel 10 times better if I could get down to 100kg

@LiveItLikeLisa yes but I lost most of the weight the first 6 to 12 months. Operation was 2017 july , I moved in a rental house 2019 February , I was 78kgs my lowest. Then I had to get to 70kgs to get excess skin removed but covid hit

Loved your video , penrith is definantly the best westfeild , black town and parramatta are way too big . I work in a nursiing home and sometimes get asked how much things are , i just let them know its free and they dont need money and then we have same same conversation the next day , i think all nursing home workers or nurses are more than happy to reassure people every day 😊

100% agree I think I would be way to overwhelmed at parramatta and not sure if I would feel safe in Blacktown lol so Penrith seems the best one for me. It’s probably changed so much since I last went though. Hehe I had to laugh at the sane conversation everyday. Same with my dad, every single day I talk to him he asks me where I live and how long does it take me to get there. Lol

The Epicurian I'm sure you will love, been there twice. Its $99 per head lunch on Mon to Thurs. $105 Fri and $145 on weekends, same food choice all days. You have to book online because it's popular. Since Michael wants to have a tomahawk Elements Bar and Grill is good there is one at Pyrmont and one in Haberfield. Just some suggestions or you. Always prebook because a lot of places get busy. I think I ended up donating 2 of the sneakers as they were a bit too loose on my heels and my foot was sliding around in them. I had a pair of slippers and a blue pair of the sneakers that were really good and wore them all the time and eventually wore them out. Mikes pair are still going he loves his. And I had a pair of sandals that just was never wearing so I ended up donating them too. And this is really another reason I don’t want to do collabs anymore as even though I enjoyed them at the time I haven’t gone back to re purchase and ended up getting so many pairs that I didn’t really need.

Awww I loved this blog, poppy needs his eyebrows trimmed, I wanted to reach through the screen and do it lol. I absolutely love those $8 Kmart flats. I have multiple pairs and they are so comfy, like slippers. They are literally all I wear and are perfect for casual and a dressier look. You did well!

The nurses should be checking the pockets but so many false teeth used to go through the nursing home I worked . That new day stuff you bought you can get toilet cleaner in it too most probably not septic safe. Saw it at Taree. I am so excited for your Sydney vlog . Tell Mike best pizza in Sydney the Horsley drive Fairfield pizza on the Horsley ! The $2 shops have them notepads with the fake money too … beep when you go past Bulahdelah or stop in at detours cafe for a coffee ☕️ Your 5 years older then me ! I hope I get hot flushes ! I’d actually rather buy it, try it on at home and then take it back if it doesn’t fit. I hate changing rooms lol Yes I’m sure the pedi guy was making comments on my porky trotters lol the only reason I actually pay for a pedicure is cause I can’t get down there to do it myself! Oh I must look out for the new day toilet cleaner I had no idea that was a thing!! But yes probably not septic safe. Oh will definitely let mike know about pizza place, is it the one near the tafe? My hands do get cold but then I just sandwich them between my legs and in 2 mins they are toasty. I don’t like being hot lol
