Kerri’s a good sport 😂

The trainer relentlessly screaming “shake it off!” was absolutely hysterical!

I'm a flight attendant and had Chris on my flight several years ago. I didn't realize he was even on the flight until our final descent when we were having difficulty waking him up. I was flight leader, so I was primarily working in first class. Chris was in the next section. A crewmember came up to me saying there was someone slouched over at the window with his tray table down and the crewmember was trying to get Chris's attention so he could put his tray table up, but then realized he wasn't waking up. I went back there and REALLY had to try and make sure he was OK with loud noises, shaking, etc. When he finally woke up and raised his head, I immediately thought, "Oh shit that's Chris Kattan!" He was my childhood hero between his SNL skits (especially Mr Peepers) and A Night at the Roxbury. I feel really bad for the guy because he seemed like he was in a lot of pain. Even a short flight (that one was only 1 hour - 1.5 hours) can be brutal if you've broken your back. I know he's struggled in the past with managing the ongoing chronic pain from that injury. I feel bad for the guy!

When I saw this the first time, I couldn't stop laughing. Especially the way Kerri just herself and Norm looked like he was about to crack up. Shake it off Kippy! 😂😂

One of the very few times Norm actually had to try to not laugh during a sketch!

Kippy's voice was so funny! He used the same rhythm and pitch as Kerri. Chris Katan is really funny!

OMG...this is hilarious. Chris Kattan kills it with his Kippy character! "Yes, that was sweet, wasn't it?" LOL

Most memorable US Olympic moments; US Hockey Team in 1980, and our hero Kerri Strug in 1996. Vaulting with a broken ankle and winning gold.....amazing.

Chris was hilarious in almost all of his sketches he was in. This one was a classic and even Mark McKinney playing the coach was too funny 🤣. "Shake it off Kippy, shake it off!" 😅

I love watching Kerri crack up through this.

Chris Katan is freakin hilarious. It's horrible and ironic he actually lived through breaking his neck. He was the best at physical comedy on SNL.

When you use words like; " Best " remember to say arguably or one of, because Chris Farley, John Belushi etc were two SNL Stars who did skits as equal to Kattan.

I could not sit beside Chris kattan and keep a straight. Him and Farley are beyond any normal comedian

This sketch is THE BEST.

I had TOTALLY forgotten about this! When I was like 13 or so and this came out, I’d do an impersonation of the “said a little prayer” bit, and it always got a laugh. SNL won’t be like this again.

It is crazy how they look alike he put the wig on he matched her voice perfectly in pitch. She hurt her ankle in vault, he broke his neck, so yeh how there lives mirror each other. Good sport she is to kind of well imitation highest form of flattery.

This is gold.

She has two older siblings a sis and a bro. But they do not give interviews much. I saw some old interview with her mom she also has a high pitch voice.

one of the funniest impressions i have ever seen I remember seeing that live and knowing they would give her the gold out of empathy sympathy and just heartstring feeling bad for the girl but her weird hair cut and high pitched squeaky voice has to be addressed in comedy gold and they did great without going to far and hurting her feelings it was a great "balancing act" pun very much intended
