Well in a way it would just become another Daily Show. It works better as a short 10 to 12 minute segment in the 90 minute show. If it was just a half hour show, I think it would start to feel boring.

Ya know, I try to wait until the full Weekend Update skit comes out but, of course, I can't; so I watch the snippets of it and THEN when the full skit comes out, I watch it again. I'll be damned but it's just as funny and great doing both as it is waiting for the full length one. Dunno' how these guys and their writers do it but it's freakin' brilliant! It would be a ton of work and Che and Jost would become trillionaires, but I could watch a half hour episode of these guys and their writers every night!!
