Seriously, the comedic chemistry between Che and Jost is amazing. They make me laugh so hard I cry every time. I love the vibe of "it's OK to joke about race, as long as we love each other". I love all races, but racial humor can be hilarious, even when the target is my race. The more we laugh together, the closer we become.

@@aelius93 All comedy shows, all shows, employ a team of writers (who writes what and for whom, themselves or someone else, is decided on a case by case basis or collaborations are formed in time), that's not news. But they mostly work on these themselves and make it sure not to see them even in rehearsal because it makes the thing much funnier, as they're not professional actors. It's not by chance this one of the best recurring bits by SNL in a while.

Im sure someone will try to clip Colin's racist jokes, and then repost them without any context to the skit, and it will just be the racist joke and it will cause a mini cancelation for Colin until every learns it was part of this skit. I mean thats not a very far fetched outcome, it happens to people ALL the time... audio and/or video clips are cut and edited to hide the context and only show the "bad" part, that with the entire clip, is not bad, but on its own looks incredibly bad. Hopefully this doesn't happen to Colin.

I'm pretty sure that Michael is trying to get Colin cancelled. Every time they do this Michael makes Colin say racist jokes. But I'm sure they are friends and to them this is light hearted fun.

I love that Colin can talk while he's laughing. It makes the delivery that much better.

I never get tired of watching this!! It’s absolute top tier comedy!! Perfect example of being able to joke about ANYTHING it just depends on the context and subject/target!! Anyone can see here that the real joke/humour is in their banter with each other!

These two are responsible for bringing SNL back from the dead.

The way Colin says "our gift to each other is jokes" and Michael says "we're making each other read jokes" really sums up how they approach their writing for it

everyone talks about the chemistry which is def there, but this is great writing from both these guys.

I absolutely LOVE this! It reminds me of the word association sketch with Richard Pryor and Chevy Chase.Its all in good fun and no one is getting hurt.

This is like “jokes Seth can’t tell” taken to the absolute extreme

Just when Colin thought he had Che with the cop joke, Che hits him with the Woody Allen

Yeah, these bros are one of my favorites, because they are too funny, actually care and are able to address tough situations in a way we can stomach. I give the credit to their hearts, style and writing.

Why did they stop this? They never made another one for the last 2 years now? It was the funniest thing SNL ever made!!!!

I love how before every Michael joke was meant to make him look like a pervert and every Colin joke was meant to make him look racist but this time they both added jokes that made the other one seem like they were speaking for themselves. Really wish this would have gone on for another 10 minutes.

Every time these guys swap jokes, its great, but i think this is the best one. Every joke is outstanding

Perhaps the best segment every season. I love that Che makes him say the most racist shit and Jost is so mortified. It’s hilarious.
