It was sooooo cold and wet when we decided to head over to north-west Japan. Definitely wished I packed heavier. Nagoya is definitely an underrated city, and I recommend it if you want to see a change of pace compared to Tokyo or Osaka. There's also the Ghibli Park but unfortunately we couldn't get tickets for it. Kanazawa was beautiful! And I could only imagine how it's like when it's nice weather. :)
