This week we lost Tucker. We knew it was coming after he had issues at the end of last year and needed surgery, but we always carried a hope that maybe all will be well in the end. Tucker was our first dog not just for our family, but for my husband and myself. Letting him go was hard and only the people who have lost a close pet will ever know this particular pain.
