I'm about 12 minutes in and would definitely say the mechanic is the one at fault. He is the 'PROFESSIONAL', it is his job to look at the transmission oil and make sure it's the right one...that's common damn sense! The fact that a store clerk gave him the 'wrong oil' doesn't absolve him of the fact that he didn't take the time to check for accuracy and used it on your vehicle. That's like a pharmacist blaming the cashier at Walgreens for ringing up the wrong medication for a customer! You'll win your case and I am so glad you're fighting it! If he had integrity he'd refimburse you in full and just admit the error. Edit-The blanket is beautifu, so thoughtful!

Exactly! He should reimburse me in full. I don’t even ask for that, I only initially asked for half back of labor. Not even to replace the new transmission he messed up which cost me 2k plus. No integrity. I pray for patience in this season because I am going to need it to get through this lawsuit
