    A long time in Japan yes but I wasn’t as organized as you are! You are really ‘senpai’ super organized and up on your detail oriented things! :) I’m glad people are able to see that and it can be showcased here. I really admire how detail oriented you are and sooo knowledgeable! &&& right now I’m back in Canada and I’m struggling with how life in Canada is not like life in Japan. Just getting a coffee while out is different from doing that in Japan and Canada has changed a lot since I was gone. Napkins and seats are gone in many coffee shops OHHHH MYYYYY That means you just get a coffee and be on your way away from there as soon as possible. Not cozy anymore. Not like a cozy pleasant warm relaxing atmosphere. Places have become just a take out and go. And unlike Japan you always need to ask for your recipe. :l Well this is near my home in Toronto where I’m going to school....I’m not so sure about other parts of Canada but I’ll bet it is the same. I miss Japan. Awww I’m happy someone so organized and thoughtful as you are can be in Japan! :) In my last year spent in Kobe and Kyoto I could experience an actual earthquake where all the students get under their desks!! That was kind of COOL! Teachers just stood at the front while the room was shaking. Haha I really liked it! In total I experienced about 6-7 earthquakes ranging from a slight shake to and finished to a few minutes of not being able to stand up in my kitchen and quickly trying to turn my gas off! TWO big ones in Nagoya that day! Let me also say that driving a car was a lot of fun in Japan! Getting a license as a Canadian is super easy. Actually there is a way around this I think for Americans too. Americans can get a Canada license and then get an international driver’s license in Canada and then come to Japan with those and try to use those to easily obtain a Japan driver’s license. It might work! :) Anyways I really think you do a good job of making your videos fantastic! From Greg

    Sponsored by: COFFEE ☕ 😹 But seriously, really enjoyed this glimpse of your lifestyle in Japan. As a vegan, it's refreshing to see some options. I just wish you left more time for me to read the captions 😆 There was SO much in this video that it could have been 3 more specific ones. But that's okay, I still quite enjoyed it. The waterfalls were gorgeous! Hope your back feels better, and good luck on the new side businesses. がんばって!

    would you say isi kyoto had conversational classes? I'm really worried about this bc in my uni we only focused on jlpt so my talking skills are poor. also, are there school trips frequently?

  • @ChefinJapan

    @ChefinJapan

    Hello, it was not enough to fully cover my expenses although it almost did. I also needed to use my savings. You’re allowed up to 28 hours of work on the student visa though, I think I was only doing 12 so maybe if you do the whole 28 it might be okay?
