From one mama to another, a great way to simplify breakfast even more is to make pancakes in a baking sheet!! I pour all my pancake batter into a greased baking sheet and bake at 425 for 15 minutes. Just cut into squares and scoop out! Saves so much time!

You are so sweet, thank you! I try to be. However, on the days that I am struggling or am feeling off, I don't film. I have days where my patience is thin, my mind is scattered and I can't focus, or I feel rushed and stressed. There are days where I am asking my little ones for forgiveness because my heart wasn't where it should be, and there are days that I am short because I got way over stimulated and didn't handle it correctly. There are days where I close the bathroom door, turn the lights off, and just cry for a few moments while a hand the situation over to the Lord. I think the biggest thing that helps me respond and react with gentleness towards my children, especially on the days I am feeling off, is to retrain my brain to always question my reactions. Am I reacting to what they are doing, or am I reacting based off of how I FEEL? Most of the time, I realized that on the days I was short with them was becasue of how I was feeling, and not really what they were doing. I've learned that it requires me to surrender all of my daily plans to the Lord. I pray very specifically that God leads my heart and guides it to where it's focus should be. This daily surrender helps me have a consistent heart of service so my mothering, homemaking, and homeschooling is met with complete joy. I hope this was encouraging! Every single mama feels all of these things, so you are not alone in this jouney. Blessings mama!
