My wife and I - both teachers in California - counted 5 of our combined classroom ideas/policies that were directly from your videos. Thanks from us both! 🙂

I’m not a teacher, don’t even have kids, but I find this so fascinating! It’s clear you put a ton of thought and passion into your work, and I’m sure the kids are thriving because of it! Definitely remembering some of your wisdom when I do have kids someday.

Fantastic video! I love how organically you created the mission statement and code of conduct with your students. They were so involved in every step of the process. I also love the question you asked them about how to take charge of their reading life. So many great nuggets of information. Keep up the great work!

I hope you have a great year! I moved schools and grade level this year as well. I went from 15 years in elementary to middle school 😱. We just finished up week 3 and so far it has been the absolute best decision ever!!! It is strange that your schedule changes so much and you don’t have specials every day. Very weird. You seem to be Adjusting well to your changes. I’m happy for you!
