Hey girl! You are not a statistic! Just taking a different route and there’s nothing wrong with that. I’ve been a Medical Assistant for 4 years now and I just started my prerequisites for nursing. MA is really a great career! I love it. Also you’ve motivated me to start posting more on my channel too lol. Can’t wait to watch your journey! Also girl get a laptop and type your notes on Word instead of writing it.

Im going into the second semester of my first year. You got this girl. It is a great job. I did manage to also find a job as an MA, that allows me to work and go to school. I'm only the receptionist for now, but it is a great job and I have a great boss. Good luck, and be blessed.

Your situation was exactly the same as mine except at my hbcu I lost myself and got to a point where I was crying every day and just borderline depressed. I went after my high school graduation just to experience the college life and it was all partying, drinking, and smoking etc. and repeat. I always thought more of my future, and I was just anxious to get started with my career rather than waste unnecessary time and money, so I ended up withdrawing from that school and currently I started my first week of being a medical assistant student on Monday and I was very intrigued and I'm excited for this journey. my program is eight months and I'll be graduating on November 3rd of this year!

Hey girly, that just touched me because I can definitely relate. Thank you so much for sharing with me. I went through a hard time at my college as well, but I tried to make it the best I could. Don't be discouraged because we all go through life differently, and I had to realize that myself. I just had to put my focus on the main goal, so that I could get out of that stage of my life and get where I am destine to be. I love you and it will all work out in the end. 💕

Honestly all the things I really needed for the start of the class were a notebook or binder w/ paper, pens/pencils, a BP cuff and a Stethoscope. It varies with what facility you attend but thats all I needed. I hope that helps💕
