CENTRAL PARK WALK (00:11)
Every week, I try to visit Central Park at least once for a long walk to clear my head from the work week. Lately, it has been quite stressful and there's just a lot of work to go around. Working from home five days a week, going to Central Park allows me to change my physical surroundings and de-compress in nature without leaving the city. Copper also gets to enjoy all the sights and smells - and especially chasing SQUIRRELS. Even with the Easy Walk harness, if he sees a squirrel I have to dig in my heels because he starts to sprint at maximum speed. A few weeks ago when it was raining, I slipped on the stairs at Carl Schruz park and had a sore shoulder for about a week. Good thing nothing happened, but as you get older these little things start to add up.
RE-POTTING SNAKE PLANTS (01:56)
A few weeks ago I split up my snake plant into four smaller ones to try and propagate some more of them. The leafs are starting to curl up for the new ones, but the roots seem to keep growing which is a good sign. All I can do is just keep watering them when it's completely dry, put them in the sign, and hope for the best. Plants have been a good teacher in patience and routine. Every morning when I wake up now at 5-6AM, one of the first things I do is check the moisture of each plant I have (currently 16 as of writing). Watching them grow over time has been a great experience.
WWE FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN 6/28/2024 (03:50)
I've only started watching WWE since May 2023 and have gone to 3 shows in NYC and never missed an episode since then. Every week there is Monday Night RAW (3 hours) and Friday Night Smackdown (2 hours) so there's not much time to really watch anything else.
We like to think wrestling is fake, but it's actually the most accurate representation of the world as we know it. How many relationships have fell apart where friends became enemies, people got betrayed, or good people simply have unfair or bad things happen to them? How many times does someone appear with good intentions, but actually are quite shady (and people act shocked)? All of this happens in wrestling on a weekly/monthly basis, but we tend to think it is fake (which is hilarious).
It was quite wild to see Paul Heyman get put through the announcer table at 58 years old, somebody is going to have to give payback on his behalf to Solo Sikoa and the new Bloodline 2.0.
