Working in a luxury retail environment, I'm constantly surrounded by people with nice, luxury things..so it really doesn't phase me anymore. I myself am not super into luxury bags, but I know that for some people, being able to buy their own luxury bag is a big deal! Never apologize for working hard on things that you want to buy for yourself. Life is short - buy the bag!

Do not bring yourself down about wanting a bag and working towards getting one. I am a purse gal and I get excited about purses, I love Kate Spade bags and sometimes they’re on the pricey side but that’s my thing and I reward myself that way and no one can take that away from me. If you’ve always wanted that bag and you worked your ass off for it who cares what anyone else says. You’re a queen your bag is beautiful don’t let anyone yuck your yums!

Oh my goodness I thought it was just me!! I started my cycle 5 days ago and the first day I found I got hired at a new job (which I’ve been praying for) and then once I found that out it was like a wave of sadness hit me out of no where and I cried the rest for the day! And I couldn’t tell if it was from my period or the new change or the fact that I’m still trying to figure out my life and I feel so behind everyone my age .. does that make sense?? I love that you’re so humble and honest! The fact that you even acknowledged buying luxury items speaks for your character! I don’t think there is anything wrong with buying nice things, but I know some people who may not be a fan of it because there are children starving and such high poverty rates right now and it seems selfish to them. I grew around people who were poor and talked bad about “them rich people” while they sat there smoking a pack or more or Marlboro reds a day which here in Tennessee is like $7 a pack and $7*365=2555$. That’s enough to buy 1 or 2 designer bags, but they make fun of people for having fancy things, but their bad habits keep them poor. Don’t ever apologize for being able to buy a nice bag. It’s not really that much for you anyways, and I think it fits into your budget. So you go girl and do your best!

Yes for the new bag! I’m getting my first luxury bag delivered this week from LV and I’m so excited, but keep thinking oh I don’t neeeeeddd it this is a lot of money blah. But I like bags, and I’ve been working to get it so I deserve it. I grew up in a very low income house (dad only since I was a teen) where sometimes I couldn’t even eat. So to be able to treat myself now that I am mid twenties and doing well for myself feels wrong..

To me, there's a huge difference between being materialistic and superficial. I think that I consider myself as materialistic in a way because I do care about things, buying nice things (especially bags haha) and I associate things with events or moments of my life. Material items can have a certain meaning to me. However, I do not consider myself as superficial because yes, I do love things and have a hard time letting them go at times, but I know that there is way more to life and I can see past things. I don't know if this makes sense haha but anyways!! You shouldn't feel guilty for buying what you want with your money that you work for :)
