Interesting seeing people from other countries moving to and embracing Australia. I grew up in Adelaide (where the beach is to the West), so I can't get my head around sunrise over the ocean...(also Western Bulldogs rather than Melbourne Bulldogs EDIT: They were originally "Footscray" which is in Melbourne's Western suburbs)).

Thanks Ellie your great 😁….we just don’t know how we got it good in this amazing Aussie land!!….love my country even more!👍🏾
Swimming when the temp is 11c didn't feel bad because the water temp was higher than the air temp. Going to the footy is immersion in real Australian culture.

@Tyt Xlx in every way possible. Except the drivers. Drivers are worse in Qld
Nice video. Never saw anyone eat a pie with a spoon before. By the way, the Doggies are the Western Bulldogs, not Melbourne Bulldogs (they are Melbourne Demons).
Sydney is warmer than melb and we have lots more beaches all up and down the coast in New South Wales. I’m wondering why you moved from the US to Australia I know u have family here, but still it’s a giant thing to do?

@@elliemajelly well, don’t just visit the city of Sydney, yep sure the harbour is very nice, I’ve lived here all my 55+ years and the harbour still makes me wanna stare for ages looking at it. Also go to the blue mountains and Katoomba, the 3 sisters look out & Govets leap look out, the skyline and the cable car into the valley. Don’t forget the central coast either.
Ellie you are starting to get celebrity status with requests for interviews.🙂

@@elliemajelly You deserve it but we won't talk about football.
At least you're not doing the touristy places and getting down to the nitty gritty
@elliemajelly

i’m with you on that, touristy things can be fun but sometimes i feel like they’re a lot of money when you could have an even more genuine experience with something cheaper
OMG I could listen to your cute American accent all day 😍
3 hours out of Melbourne and you would be in another state.

@@elliemajelly Hi Ellie. The mighty Demons are the Melbourne Football Club. Our moniker or nickname is the Demons ( just like Essendon are the Bombers, Hawthorn are the Hawks & the Western Bulldogs are the Doggies). Melbourne’s colours are Red & Blue and we are currently sitting 3rd on the ladder.
here is 10 small tips to any US citizen that wants to come to Australia. 1. leave your attitude along with your guns at the departure lounge. 2. don't panic! it will be there waiting for you when you get back, we don't want it. 3. you cannot buy, nor carry a gun over here, this is not the wild west as it is in the USA. 4. enjoy the sites the food and the different cultures. 5. Australia has a culture, they have song, dance and food and we are proud of it. 6. The US has, Levi's jeans, McDonalds, mass shootings, guns and bombs and you are proud of it? 7. take lots of photo's, buy the occasional souvenir. 8. when you get back to the US "the home of the brave and the free," pick up your gun and your attitude, you will notice it is still there in tact as you left it. 9. Show your friends the photo's and tell them you had a nice time. 10. Oh and don't forget to tell your friends you experienced real freedom for the first time in your life not having to carry a gun!
