Hi guys great informative video - what was that chocolate 😏🤔 Can’t wait to see the next video now !!! We used Park for night for the first time absolutely loved it - in fact you reminded me we need to upload our pics. Soda stream is ace we have one. Hi there, hope you are still enjoying your travels. We are travelling at the moment in our 6 metre Hymer. We are now on week 10, we started in the Netherlands, and we are now in Croatia. We have been to many of the places you have been too. We found getting the Hungarian vignette a little more complicated that the others, as we couldn’t determine which category our van came in. I noticed that you only paid about £14. Where as we paid over £19. But we bought a D2 to be on the safe side. In fact I had it confirmed by email from the toll company that was the one we needed. Unfortunately, we have to buy another one as we have to go back into Hungary to get to Romania, then Bulgaria, then Greece, ferry to Italy, France then Spain, ferry from Santander back to U.K. I don’t know how you are managing on your teeny weeny budget!! We are averaging on about £500 a week! But we are having some amazing experiences and seeing some fascinating places. I was wondering how you are managing with the 90/ 180 day rule, as you haven’t mentioned that in the blogs I’ve watched so far. We have to go to Romania and Bulgaria for 90 days, so we can continue our journey in the Schengen zones. Although my partner has an Irish passport, unfortunately, I don’t, so it makes planning more difficult. Also Croatia joining the Schengen zone in January put a spanner in the works for our trip! Oh well. Please can you tell me which app you use for your free park ups. We use Camper contacts and park 4 the night, which both have proven to be very useful, but we don’t seem to get grassy field like you do, just car parks! To be honest, we have stuck mostly to campsites, but if we can we will park for free to try and reduce the overnight cost. We thought campsites in Bulgaria and Romania would be the safest, but after reading your blogs, maybe we will try some wild parking. Thanks for your blogs, they have been useful. Hi Annette and Pete, Thank you so much for watching our channel and taking the time to write a comment to us. Your trip sounds fantastic! Croatia us very beautiful. The Hungarian pass was very confusing so I went into the office at the border to check with staff which category we needed. Our van is under 3500kg so maybe that accounts for the difference? We only use park4night app, and it’s been giving us incredible park ups, we try to go for the ‘in nature’ category. Our budget has been holding up well so far, although it’s getting tighter, I bet you are having a wonderful time on £500 a week. Our budget has been kept low by not using campsites at all in the last 3 weeks, we hope to get all the way home without spending on a park up at all! We’ve been in Romania and Bulgaria for a few weeks, so by the time we go home in just over a month we will still be under our 90 day allowance fortunately. In your position we would be spending 90 days in Romania and Bulgaria too, they are incredible countries. Once again thank you so much for your support Corrin & Paul
