Amen! Jesus is the Truth and He has set us free! Whenever we feel bound by our sins or are overwhelmed in any situation, we can remember that Jesus has set us free from all that and will give us peace in the hardest situations.

Amen: and He is still setting us free daily, as we come to know Him ever more. It reminds me of what Paul said: 2 Cor. 1:10 "He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us," May we see that continued saving and deliverance daily, while also like you said never forgetting that Christ has set us free. I was thinking about that today: the seeming polar opposites that yet still work together in unity: like lament and thanksgiving in worship, like bringing our pain to Jesus and looking for the good and praising Him for that. Both are a seeking of Him, both good for us. Just like it is good to remember we are free, just as it is good to confess where we have fallen into sin and walk into the deliverance God is offering us afresh.
