You gotta do a Nerd-week! Or maybe a Neptunes week? I listened to the Neptunes album the Clones a lot, which is a collection of songs Pharrell and Chad (The Neptunes) produced and released. I think the only one that got a mv was Frontin' , but I always liked Light your a§§ on fire from Busta rhymes, and Hot with Pusha-T and Rosco P. COldchain, and It blows my mind , with Snoop Dogg. Did you spot Kelis in the couch in the last scene? She has worked with them a lot. If you haven't done Kelis, she should have a week too. @@Sultans-World I was never an expert, but I think Neptunes came beofre NERD, and consisted of Chad and Pharell who produced a lot of music together. After producing many songs they decided they wanted to front Neptunes with their own group and created Nerd, which also includes Shay. So I guess Shay came in later.

@@judyjude Oh that makes sense. I think Pharell on his own is just not as strong as with Chad. They literally created so many classics and every song was tight. I don't remember the last real classic Pharell produced on his own other than Happy (which I don't particularly like that much). I mess with some of his productions like on that Ariana album and a few Madonna songs but I don't think any of them are on a Neptunes level at all.

Pharrell is from Virginia Beach like Missy and Timbaland. So they're definitely in the DMV area for the video. This album is so good.

Like Missy Timbaland and Devante Swing (of Jodeci), they were from some hood part of Virginia (I think near Virginia Beach or Newport). I’ve heard this song a million times and I still have no clue what it’s about. When I was younger I just liked it bc I liked that they referred to politicians as strippers and said that this (the chorus) is what they sound like. I don’t remember that Lee person at all but I definitely remember Vita. I really liked her. I thought she was hilarious in her small role in the movie Belly and I liked her energy on the songs she had verses on. I wonder what happened to her. I know her sister (Keema of the group Total) left and got a regular 9-5 after having enough of the industry’s (and Diddy’s) shenanigans but I have no clue what happened to Vita.
