    I have texlaxed 4C hair and I'm thinking about buying this too. The only difference is that I'll be straightening my hair a little more so that the curl pattern won't get in the way and the device will have a better chance of recognizing actual split ins as I glide it through. I say this because it would be naive for any of us to think that this wasn't made predominately for caucasian hair (or other hair w/ less of a diameter). This is especially true if the person behind it isn't brown or beige. When it's not a brown or beige inventor, the mention of "all' types of hair is oftentimes just a marketing afterthought to drive up sales. So it won't hurt for me to do a quick straighten to compensate for that! Still, thanks SO much for putting us onto this!😊🙌🏽

    The funny thing is..if she goes to a stylist they will say she needs a trim because of the unevenness smh 🤦🏾‍♀️ thanks for the demo

    That's so true. The unevenness here does not equate damaged ends, but many stylists would take it as such and snip them away. Glad you enjoyed this video!

    Yay! Glad you are interested! please make sure to get the real version from the actual brand/site. Alot of people buy the fake brand which causes split ends. The real version comes with a warranty as well.

    This is amazing for the search and destroy method through my hair which I do after I get my length trimmed . Do u still like it? Did it cause more split in the hair shaft?

  • @DynamicTouch

    @DynamicTouch

    Absolutely right, it is similar to the search & destroy method when the hair is straightened. Yes, the Split-Ender Pro is still in my hair tool arsenal. It's been about year, but no split-ends thus far. The only downside would be that this tool doesn't trim the single-strand knots away; so, if you sometimes get these you may want to try trimming them as you go. Thanks for watching & for commenting!

    I’m thinking about buying this device instead of going to get trims professionally. Do you think it’s worth it in the long run to use this or to go get trims done? Stylists cut too much hair and I’m trying to avoid that, however at the same time I don’t want to risk damaging my 4c hair down the line 😅

  • @DynamicTouch

    Hey Cupcakeprincess, I totally agree. I have not had my hair professionally trimmed in 5 years. I believe that this device will be a good tool for you. I currently use this tool twice a year to trim my split-ends. The blades are still sharp. The performance of my Split-Ender Pro has not diminished over the past years. I have no damage from this tool & my hair is still flourishing. Praise Jesus Christ!!!. This product is limited when it comes to removing single-strand knots. You'll have to search & trim them away by hand periodically. If you're interested, I can do a video. Whenever you decide you want a even trim (though you can do this yourself if you're willing), you can go to a hair-stylist. Make sure your hair is flat-ironed before using this tool. To get guaranteed results make sure you purchase the Split-Ender Pro from the company.

    DynamicTouch do you think having even hair helps with hair growth? I do not. I believe that with using this split ender pro and removing the split ends, that the hair will grow faster (bc length is being preserved) than hair that is trimmed for the even look. Hair stylists I’ve spoken to disagree. What are your thoughts? Have you noticed your hair length is longer over time? When I get trims at the salon my length basically stayed the same for years.

    Thanks for this so helpful video guys.. “I can feel my hair being cropped” 🤣🤣😅y’all so funny. Am considering buying this tool.. did you guys blow dry your hair only? Or blow dry and flat iron it? Also did you guys notice that your hair was more damaged/had more split ends the next time you washed your hair after using the trimmer? There is a few reviews from people who are saying that the trimmer gave them more split ends, but from what I see they are caucasians who have naturally straight, thin hair.

    Hello! I'm glad you like the video. I only use the split ender pro no more than two times a year, from what I can tell I haven't noticed any split ends. although I can see how this could be a problem with frequent use. I use the split-ender pro only when my ends are looking very rough and I start to get more tangles and knots. Any other time I just go in with my scissors. It is definitely not a necessity, for you to grow your hair long, but it is useful. it's also really good for layers or un-even growth.

    my sister's hair was blow dried and flat ironed before I used the tool. I wouldn't recommend using it on blow dried hair. Your hair will get stuck in the teeth

    Hey Andrea, ever since I purchased the spirit-ender pro in 2018, it's still working great and I don't regret purchasing it. Product allows you frequent maintenance at home. As a result, stretching the time period between salon visits. The product will remove the split ends and keep your length. There's two cutting lengths to choose from: 1/4in. to 1/8in. They are both included in the box. Since your hair is wavy, you might get away with not straightening your hair before usage. I use mine only on straighten hair. You can go over each section up to 3 times. No more than that because it will cause thinning. If you can afford this product try it out; I believe it's a luxury item to have and not a necessity. Do the search n distroy method with good pair of hair shears as an alternative method. Make sure you buy the product from the actual company to guarantee the results. Hope this helps you.

    I’m asian and I have black thick hair. My hair is so damaged and my split ends are ruining my life. I want to try this but I don’t wanna cause more damage because it’s already so damaged. Do you think that this’ll work for me or am I doomed forever?

  • @DynamicTouch

    @DynamicTouch

    I usually straighten my hair before applying heat because my hair is thick and tightly curled in it’s unaltered/untouched state. The tool will definitely help you as you transition. You mentioned your hair is damaged and really split. As time go by and your new healthy growth appears, you will be require to make mini trims. If you do this, expect your hair length to stay at it’s current length for awhile. Overtime, those damaged and split lengths of your hair, will be replaced with healthy strong strands. Make sure to buy the actual product so that we get the guaranteed results. In conclusion, no you’re definitely not doomed. There’s hope for your hair and yes, I do recommend this product to you. Give it time. Limit heat (if you do, use thermal protection). Soon your hair will be restored back to health again.

    @@chelsead1026 I like your game plan. It takes alot of courage to do a major cut like the one you did. It's going be so worth it in the end. I can only imagine, with those dead ends gone you have probably notice a Huge difference in how your hair feels and looks, huh?
