Wednesday Night Bible Study | April 17, 2024
The word woe used in scripture is very serious. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel read Jude 1:10-13 warning the believer to beware of false teachers. The Holy Spirit warns us to have discernment, for all false teaching is backed by powers of darkness. Satan is determined to destroy not only the person, but also the work of Christ. Brother Donnie says blasphemy abounds; Jude refers to those who spread false doctrine as animals who know nothing. Many leaders in churches today have gained only a head knowledge of God’s Word, but sinful man needs an encounter with the Holy Spirit to have a heart change. When we understand, and receive in our hearts the finished work of Jesus Christ and how He died to save us, then and only then we can understand the deep, spiritual things of God. Beware of men’s wisdom of words, for without the Cross of Christ, we will miss God’s prescribed order for our lives. Woe to those who go the way of Cain, or those who are greedy for personal gain as Balaam, or rebel, as did Korah against Moses. We need a revelation from the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to see His truth. The true gospel will always lead us to Christ and Him crucified. If we get the Cross wrong, we get the Bible wrong.

Praise the Lord Jesus for another blessed Bible study. I love watching Brother Donnie teach and preach! He's so right on point about everything he has to say! I saw parts of that men's conference, in the news and it was so horribly disgraceful! It broke my heart as a woman that, "supposed men of God" would find it alright, to have a display of such disrespect as to have a half naked man, slide down a stripper pole in front of men needing to learn how to become better men of God! Where's the lesson in that or even common sense? I'm like you, Brother Donnie, "what have we come to?"😥 People MUST Stand up, & Turn to the Cross of Jesus Christ!✝️🛐💗📖💞🙏💞👏✨

Thank you, Brother Donnie, for continuing this series. I know there may be people who mean harm to God's people, but just as Christ, I choose to follow my Heavenly Father who instructed to be wise as serpent's yet harmless as doves. You're doing an awesome job and I love and appreciate all the leadership in the love of the Lord. We are all in this boat together that is why we are to bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Jesus Christ. Jesus loves you.
