This video describes the Chuck Finldey 66MV trumpet mouthpiece. The 66MV is our most popular mouthpiece. It is a replacement for the Bach 3C, Schilke 14B, Yamaha 14B4, Monette B4S, Warburton 4MC, and similar mouthpieces with a .660 inch inner diameter and medium cup.
The 66MV is a very versatile mouthpiece and is suitable for a wide variety of playing situations. It differs from the 66M by having a slight V shape at the base of the cup where it transitions into the throat. This makes the 66MV slightly darker sounding compared to the 66M.
The 66MV is available as a one or two piece mouthpiece, with tops made from brass, Delrin, or Acrylic. One piece mouthpieces are available in brass or Delrin.
