It really depends on what part in the world you’re living. In my country, 500 is the average invitation. People can go up to 1k or 2k even (although this applies to much more wealthy people 😬) because we treat marriage as something that need to be shared - good news and sharing good food to extended relatives + friends. My own cousin tried limiting her invitation to just extended relatives from both her grandparents side and it STILL hit 300 pax 😂 (not including kids)
