WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY BEHIND THE SCENES | POSING & PROMPTS! | LIGHTING NIGHTMARE!
Hey I'm Andrew, full-time Wedding Photographer in SoCal! Come behind the scenes with me as I photograph an entire Wedding with Tess & Brent! Learn all my prompts and poses! See the edited final images.
We have a lighting nightmare during the ceremony and then the party gets crazy during the reception! This one is wild!
CAMERA AND SETTINGS:
I shoot on a Sony A7R iii with a 24-70mm f2.8
As well as Sony A7iii with 35mm 1.8 and 85mm 1.8
Always shooting on aperture priority and shutter speed priority because thats the simple way to shoot like a pro. I like to be in the moment and not worries too much about shooting manual mode. Use shutter speed 1/250 for indoor when its dark and aperture priority at the lowest F stop to get the best shots outside where it's bright. I have found this to be the easiest and best way to shoot like a pro while also being pretty much full auto. Work smarter, not harder. Also always shooting in RAW format.

Oh wow, they are on the opposite sides than normally. Is that because there are more groomsman? Gorgeous photos.

This is an awesome video - love the BTS tips & tricks! Thanks for the content. ALSO... is that a shot of the groom splitting his pants while doing a handstand twerk with his groomsman at 27:08?! 😂 Must have been a WILD reception!

I honestly have no idea when he split his pants, it was pretty early in the night when it happened haha! Thanks man!
Thank you! I found your video after 2 years you posting it. I have a question regarding the a7iii camera. I am seeing a lot of people with their shutter broken at lower shutter count like 20k - 50k. Did you ever experienced something like that with your camera. I also have a a7iii but it makes me feel really uncomfortable when i remember there is a 60% chance things getting bad according to what I read and saw. Thanks again for the videos.
Nice job, love the questions to get reactions!!
very good video! thank you! did you shoot all the wedding only with the 24-70 2.8?

Yeah I did for this one. It seems like a good fit. Now these days I’m shooting with a Sony A7R5 with a 35mm prime. The whole wedding basically. And with such high megapixel on that camera I simply crop in on some photos here and there and get that close up feel without having a zoomed in lens
Why your pictures look copper orange? Any reason?
Nice job👍.Please make a video on bride's hands and legs are tied and groom are coming to save her.I really needed to know this types of poses for some specific type of campaign. So make video on this if you can.Love from gujarat,India❤❤.
So...... you set your aperture and SS yourself - and let the camera decide on what ISO to use? - is that correct ?. If so - do you limit ISO at all ? . Thanks :)
